If you are unable to participate in the 2024 Public Sector Challenge but would still like to be involved then we would welcome your support as a volunteer on the day. Please submit your details here if you're interested and one of our team will be in touch.

There are many roles required to support such a large event of this type with all volunteer roles supplemented by paid professional stewards/security/H&S support/Transport support/First Aid support etc.
The main roles are:- 
  • Event Volunteer Steward (supporting participants and directing them at key points on route)
  • Water/Refuel Station Stewards (Supporting participants with supplies in between each mountain. There will be two of these and one at the start and finish)
  • Start/Finish (Registration/Completion sign in role/lost property)
  • Transport Volunteer (Shuttle participants between mountains if unable to complete or for medical reasons)
Also, help with setting up and closing down the event (Branding, signage erecting/take down, moving furniture and pop-up marquees etc, waste management -putting bags in the skip/bin).
Please let me know if you are available for the Friday 6th September and the pre and post production days Thursday 5th and Saturday 7th September. The Friday will be an early start (1hour prior to sunrise (about 4.30/5am) with a finish about 6pm so you can also be part of the celebration event.
A shirt/hoodie and a waterproof jacket (TBC) will be provided to all volunteers.
