Putting the ‘fun’ into fundraising
The team from Greene & Greene Solicitors have been busy fundraising alongside their training walks, ready for the September challenge. Some of their highlights include:
- Quiz Night: Hosting clients and local businesses at the Greene King Brewery, the team came up with a mixture of rounds from identifying logos to Richard Osman’s Answer Smash! It was a tense atmosphere as the winners were announced with just three points between first and second!
- Staff Car Wash: hand washing colleagues’ cars (and a bike!) for £20 a turn, the team have thoroughly enjoyed trading in their law books for their bucket and sponges.
- LotterHilly ‘Hills’: Hills means prizes. This lottery with a difference gives participates the chance to purchased one or more ‘Hill’ to be in for a chance to win prizes. A great, quick and inclusive fundraising opportunity with family and friends also taking part.
- Euros Sweepstake: It might not have ‘come home’ but the team loved getting behind our fundraising efforts in this engaging, fun and slightly competitive activity! The charity was given England, which meant they would have been gift all money had England won. On the bright side, Spain took pity and donated their winnings in any event!
- Local Business silent auction: the team have been busy collecting over 20 prizes from local businesses which will be sold via a silent auction. Amazing what a great cause, a busy team and a bit of local generosity can achieve.
We are delighted to see that Greene & Greene have thrown themselves into their fundraising efforts. If you or your team have any activities you would like to share, please do let us know.
