More than 1,000 people joined us for the London Bridges Walk in January 2026. In 2027, we’re doing it all again – bringing together public sector colleagues, partners, friends and families for an unforgettable day walking through the heart of London.
Choose between a 25km or 15km challenge, wear purple and join hundreds of others as we walk along the Thames, cross some of London’s most iconic bridges and raise money for causes that matter.
Whether you’re taking on the challenge with colleagues, bringing together a team, walking with friends and family or joining us on your own, we’d love you to be part of it.

Two routes. One finish. One brilliant day.
Take on the distance that works for you, with both routes finishing at St Katharine Docks, close to Tower Bridge. Route support and refreshments will be available along the way.
25km London Bridges Challenge
Start: Furnival Gardens, Hammersmith
Start time: 10am – 11am
Finish: St Katharine Docks, Tower Bridge
Take on the full challenge, walking from Hammersmith through central London and crossing 16 bridges over the River Thames before reaching the finish.
15km London Bridges Challenge
Start: Battersea Park
Start time: 11am – 12.30pm
Finish: St Katharine Docks, Tower Bridge
Join the challenge from Battersea and follow the Thames through the centre of the capital before meeting everyone at our shared finish.

Adult ticket – £24.95
Includes event registration, challenge medal, celebration drink and a minimum £5 donation to Cancer Research UK and the British Heart Foundation.
Child ticket – £12.95
For participants under 16, who must be accompanied by an adult.

Walk for a cause that matters
The London Bridges Walk is about coming together, getting active and making a difference.
A minimum of £5 from every adult registration will be donated and split between Cancer Research UK and the British Heart Foundation. Participants can also use GiveWheel to fundraise for other charities and causes that matter to them.
By taking part, you’ll be helping to:
- Support life-saving research and important charitable causes
- Promote physical activity and mental wellbeing
- Bring people from across the public and private sectors together
- Raise funds and awareness for charities across the country
- Build connections while taking on a memorable challenge
