5 tips for a safe challenge
While the endurance element of the challenge can be physically and mentally taxing, there are lots of steps participants can take to ensure the challenge is completed in a safe and enjoyable way. Helpful guidance includes:
– Walk, don’t race
– Follow the designated route
– Stay in your groups at all times, preferably with a designated first aider
– Each team should have at least one map, compass and battery pack for phones
– All teams should gain medical disclosure from employees/participants in advance
