Click here to watch the video of the Yorkshire 3 Peaks 2024 challenge!
Sometimes extraordinary, rising to all sorts of challenges on a daily basis.
On Friday 6 September, it peaked – quite literally – when around 600 people took part in the Public Sector Challenge, scaling the three peaks of Yorkshire in aid of Cancer Research UK.
The challenge saw teams from across local government, the wider public sector and private sector partners climbing Pen-Y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough – 24 miles and a 1,585m ascent – all in the space of 12 hours.
Here are just some of the pictures of a great day when the sector came together to do something extraordinary – captured by Adam Clark Photography. You can find more photos at https://clarkphotographic.co.uk/public-sector-challenge-24.
